Haha, if you want the fairness doctrine reinstalled, there would have to be 5 more Fox News's to account for NBC, ABC, MSNBC, CNBC, and others... Think about what your saying before you say it.

Also, the reason the radio is dominated by conservatives is because no one wants to listen to liberals on the air. It has been proven with Air America, it folded because it could not get any advertisers to pay for its programming.

Finally, you would trust a government agency to decide what Americans should watch? Why not follow the business model, Americans get to decide by watching what they like more often. This in turn makes the advertising fees go up, which makes more stations carry similar content. Otherwise a government agency would be forced to decide what side a person was on in the argument, and allot the same amount of time to the other side. Would you trust the government to decide what the two sides of an argument are?

I find it strange that liberals would push for reinstatement of the fairness doctrine. This would benefit the Republicans much more than the Democrats. The Republicans might dominate the radio, but the Democrats dominate the old print media and most of the cable news networks. Imagine the New York Times being forced to actually have the same number of conservative and liberal columnists! Or CBS being forced to air the conservative viewpoint every once in a while!

It all boils down to what Reagan did in 1988 bowing to pressure from the right: "Abolishing the Fairness Doctrine" which allowed channels like Fox News and Rush Limbaugh to exist. 92% of radio talk show hosts are right wing persuasion. Public airwaves belong to the public and the fairness doctrine must be restored. Insist that the presidential candidates promise to restore the fairness doctrine and bust the 5 media monopolies which control our thought process.

Everyone that goes before the TV or movie cameras gets a once over by the make up artists/stylists, etc... so why is FOX making such a big deal over John Edwards? It is just another stupid way to fill the tv screen with space for lack of anything better to show. I think I would rather listen to commercials that to watch what FOX calls news regarding hair styles. WHo cares except of course O'Reilly.

Sometimes your site "Makes it too easy". You make it seem like O'Reilly says "I have nothing against Edwards" AFTER he bashes him, but thats obviously crafty "Michael Moore" editing. Again...I dont see anything wrong with this clip. Edwards speaks about "Poor America" and look at his house and his lifestyle. And the $400 haircut was admited by Edwards.

MSNBC IS NOT liberal, left, progressive or other. If you had any brains amongst you, it would be obvious that American media is CRAP! Try watching BBC, CBC, and etc and find out so many things about the war, politics & et that are not even mentioned in american news media!

I posted a few of the many instances of liberal bias on the post about chris matthews. Also, a great website that shows many of the clear instances of liberal media bias is newsbusters.org.

The easiest way to show the liberal bias is to monitor the popularity of the major news channels. Fox News beats all other channels in the rankings by a wide margin, while the ultra left wing MSNBC and the like are being watched by less and less people. Most people do not want to watch the liberal channels because they do not want to subject themselves to listening to the liberal talking points over and over again.

Dennis Miller in every clip I've seen on this website just seems so SMUG. "Oh, look at me, I'm so smart, watch as I laugh at how dumb John Edwards is". Sorry, Denny, but it jsut makes you look like an ASS

- Oh well MSNBC and CNN do the same thing. Let's see a clip like this one proving your point.
- Stop complaining and do what your leaders say. Your leaders are telling you to shut up and do what they tell you. We will shut up if you will.
- Oh well you just hate America. No, Faux Noise and the current administration hate America. If they didn't they wouldn't be doing everything they can to sabotage the next election, just like they successfully did in 2000 and 2004.
