How many of you read in the papers where international watchdogs actually intercepted purchases by Iran of components as could be used for manufacture of nuclear weapons no less than 72 times over recent months?

So where's the "Iranian threat" now, what with Iran's being prevented from actually procuring the components thanks to international co-operation?

(Try not to tell that to His Fraudulency's "inside of the inside," let alone Fox, given their slavish insistence on a casus belli for ur-RAHOWA with Iran all the more--and Sure Victory besides.)

It all boils down to what Reagan did in 1988 bowing to pressure from the right: "Abolishing the Fairness Doctrine" which allowed channels like Fox News and Rush Limbaugh to exist. 92% of radio talk show hosts are right wing persuasion. Public airwaves belong to the public and the fairness doctrine must be restored. Insist that the presidential candidate promise to restore the fairness doctrine.

If America wants to bomb any coutry that support terrorism in anyway....then FOX news should make some propaganda about the US in need to bomb itself in the first place

US is afraid of terrorists. But instead of trying to find where they truly come from, they follow the "oil trail"!

Ironic that if they opened their eyes, they'd see two of US' most staunch "allies" are worht a look at:

1- Pakistan, where it supplies the man-power and the TRUE terrorists ( Al-Qaida included ) are trained and schooled.
( Yet, US keeps a blind eye ... and actually helps its gov't financially ... in billions! )

2- Saudi Arabia, where the FUNDING for these terrorist camps and activities comes from !
( No need to expound on their relationship to the US )

The 4th Branch of the government, aka the media ,seems to have a retirement plan for ex-military officials, as if their opinion was at all unbiased. A machine shouldn't speak for men, so shut the hell up. You know it's serious when these same media outfits are spending millions of dollars on a PR campaign, to try to convince they're fair and balanced, when they're some of the most ignorant and racist people giving that type of mentality a safe haven. We act like we're sharing the spoils of war that they do. We DIE in wars, we don't get the contracts to money off of them afterwards. We don't get weapons contracts. I am new to this. I have read all the comments and this is what I think. Those who support for war against Iran, I do not blame you for wanting it since Iran has been supporting terrorism in the Middle East. On the other hand, I agree with the liberals that Americans really do need to WAKE UP!! I can understand the war in Afghanistan since the Taliban supported the al-Qaieda. Iraq, on the other hand, did not support the terrorist organization. Anyone, who says that the USA and Israel are to blame for the wars in the Middle East, is correct.

Look at the end of World War II. The British created Palestine for the Jews to live. The Arabs and the Jews are of the same people. If it were not for the creation of Israel, there would BE no war in the Middle East!! I am not saying that Israel has no right to exist because it does. The Jews do need a place to live and be free from prosecution since they have been prosecuted for thousands of years. It all goes back to the creation of Israel. It is the fault of the Western Powers that created this mess, not the Muslims. I am not Muslim myself, but I heard it from a Muslim point of view.

The USA has been in wars that it should have not been in. One excellent example is the VIETNAM WAR. Bush comparing Iraqi war to Vietnam War??!! That is like comparing apples and oranges!! Iraq IS NOT Vietnam. For one thing, Iraq is NOT fighting for its independence. Vietnam WAS! THAT IS A HUGE DIFFERENCE THERE. Yes, North Vietnam was communist, BUT it was fighting for the nation's independence from foreign rule. Of all countries, USA should have understood and supported the Vietnamese for their independence from France!! In fact, Ho Chi Minh ASKED the USA for help in the first place. If the USA had supported Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam would have been a democracy and free nation, instead of being a communist independent nation. If I had been old enough, I would have supported Ho Chi Minh for independence only!! There had been political parties that were against Ho Chi Minh, but joined him only because he wanted freedom from foreign rule!! One of the political parties that joined Ho Chi Minh, a communist, was for a democratic Vietnam. That showed how powerful independence was over ideology. Ho Chi Minh did NOT care about communism or democracy, only independence for Vietnam. It was the USA that turned him down so the Vietnam War was the result of the USA's action!

I was using my native country as proof that the USA had made very bad decisions. Iraq was another example that the USA has not learned its lesson. The more the USA makes very bad decisions about other coutries, the more enemies the USA will have!! We need to stop making unwise decisions that would make us make more enemies. Right now, we are the most hated and loved country in the world!!

Yes, America has enemies across the globe. Yes, we should fear their capabilities. However, maybe we should learn from the decades of conflict in Israel and Palestine (with no end in sight). What has all the violence and killing solved? Maybe we should take a long, objective review of our foreign policy, and figure out why we have created so many enemies. Instead of killing countless more people, and only creating more enemies, maybe we should try to be a better global neighbor, and try to understand the viewpoints and sensitivities of other groups. Maybe if we approach those in need with a sincere desire to help, we will make friends instead of sworn enemies.

As I see it the 2 occupation forces in the mid east are USA and Israel. Israel started the war in 67 by attacking Egypt. they have occupied Palestine this last 40 years. They are a warmongering terrorist state. USA is meddling in all nations affairs. Iran on the other hand has not attacked anyone in the last 100 years.
