I heard one person didn't say he was for or against the war (actually occupation), but after they told him their talking points, he enthusiastically said "I'm from (whatever state he was from in the south or mid west I think) and I'd like to talk to my congressman right away!" Then they patched him through and on their dime so he could say what he wanted.
We are as patriotic or even more patriotic than they are. We care about the health and safety of our soldiers and want them brought home safe and receive proper health care and counseling to adjust back to civilian life after multiple extended tours.
Tough talking war promoters will never personally volunteer to go anyway. They send someone else's husband, wife or child.
