I met Darcy at Take Back America this year, and then again at Yearly Kos. All I can say, with apologies to other candidates who I think very highly of, is that I have never met a more down-to-earth person running for office. Ever.

Yes, I feel comfortable calling her Darcy for that reason. You meet her once, and you feel like she is your friend. Wow, imagine that, real people in Congress.

Her opponent, on the other hand, inbumbent David Reichert, is an absolute ass who is gung-ho about Iraq because he doesn't have kids dying there.
