So O'Reilly did his best to spin the recent PEJ report about Faux's non-reporting on the Iraq war but ended up sounding like a condescending, shallow, petty, grasping idiot. In other words, he sounded like he usually does. See it and listen to it here (TV) and here (radio).
It's hard to even know where to start on this one, so this will be a multi-part series to make sure I address it all.
First thing you should know is that Loofah Boy agrees with the findings of the report: Fox Noise does less reporting on the Iraq war than CNN and MSNBC. His justification? Apparently the Iraq war is not news:
Do you care if another bomb went off in Tikrit? Does it mean anything? No! It doesn’t mean anything! You can’t put it in any perspective.Got that? Violence in Iraq is meaningless because O'Reilly can't figure out what it means, so it isn't news. After all, the non-stop bombings and killings couldn't possibly be a sign that Iraq is in a civil war, Iraqi security forces are a corrupt failure, the Iraqi government is useless, US military strategy is hopelessly flawed, sectarian violence is increasing, etc. Of course not. The violence in Iraq means nothing, signifies nothing and is not news. It's just a bunch of stuff that happens. A lot. So, sorry to all you dead/wounded Iraqi civilians, dead/wounded US soldiers and all your grieving families. In the words of O'Reilly, "It doesn't mean anything!"
Bonus Question: How can you attempt to put the violence in Iraq in perspective if it isn't reported?

Are you for real MR. COMPTON? and his show is "grate" I totally "knowes" it! Keep up the fight! "onece" day you may make sense! or should I say "cents" or "seence" or "cinse" etc...
