Very few serious news stations would have Ann Coulter as a regular guest on their station as does Fox. That is because she is one of the designated mudlsingers for the extreme right-wingers. I don't believe she even representst the views of the majority of true traditional conservatives, like she pretends to do when she makes her off-the-wall bigoted and hateful statements. Anyone who would defend her or even believe half of what she writes would have to be just as moronic and hateful. She has no limits to her hate speech. What really offended me once was when she attacked some of the 9/11 widows for criticizing Bush. She stated: "These broads are millionaires, lionized on TV and in articles about them revelling in their status as celebrities and stalked by grief-arazzis. I've never seen people enjoying their husbands' death so much." I agree with Kristin Breitweiser, one of the widows, who said Coulter sounded like a "very disturbed, unravelled person."

You know Faux News would have a field day if anyone (liberal or conservative) made a similar hateful statement against any 9/11 widow who had a pro-Bush position.

"Fair and balanced" is a slogan used to attract viewers. Whether it is right or wrong is a question of opinion. All news channels have an element of entertainment ohterwise people don't watch, and what the heck are they going to air when it's news 24/7 ? Some of it has to be fluff. I'm sorry, but I can think of a lot worse things than how Fox does business.

No we here at BNF do nlot think it's crazy at all to call attention to an entertainment channel that claims to be a news channel. They also claim to be fair and balanced but they are not.

Ann Coulter and what she says is a real issue and so is the station that enables her Fox. We are very issue oriented, feel free to read my other blogs and you will see lots of issues discussed.

FOX NEWS, where as the Dems have to be creative and get together with common sense and find other ways to communicate our displeasure of the current situation. Okay, snide remarks aside, I'm going to honestly offer something here without sarcasm-

The far left groups border on lunacy. I know a very well known guy in L.A. that is in the film biz both as a writer and director. When I met him face to face about 8 years ago, I found him to be charming and extremely personable. The type of fellow I would love to play pool and have a few beers with. As a filmmaker he is awesomely talented as well.

My email address became part of his mass mailings, and he would frequently send propaganda from Moveon.org and other organizations of the same ilk. This is likely among your sources as well, Mr. Ehrenfeld, so your indignation comes as no surprise to me. His POV like yours is so vastly different than any kind of common sense thinking to me, that it is quite impossible to find common ground between us. Believe it or not, I would prefer to meet on common ground and work with other people to honestly address the issues of the day. Arguing, although kind of fun in a sick way, is really draining. I hate it the same way I hate MTV, reality TV, and all of the news outlets. My point here is that my Hollywood acquaintance sounds like a lunatic to me when he sends the liberal emails, but I know in real life he isn't a loon. He's actually a sweetheart of a human being.

I found this site while searching google for something completely off the subject of politics, but I felt myself compelled to jump in because the arguments being put forward were (to me) silly. Really, who the hell cares what the pundits say? Is that really important to you, sir? I understand that creating boogey men will allow like-minded types to band together en masse in war against the enemy. I get it; it's the group-think mentality. This is how parties are formed, and how it makes it so easy for politicians to brainwash us. It's extremely sad.

You strike me as a bright fellow, but with all due respect, I think you have spent too much time living in an echo chamber. My best friend is a liberal. It's amazing how much we agree on, and we are both fairly thoughtful on all issues. The difference I see in him, that I don't see here, is that he agrees that the media as a total unit is complete garbage. Come the next Prez election, he will vote Democrat and I will vote Republican. It's not that either of us have complete confidence in whomever is nominated, but just that our respective outlooks on life are more closely echoed with the two main parties we have chosen.
