Wow. If this is accurate, perhaps our friends at Blackwater could be in a little bit more hot water than even previously thought:
BAGHDAD, Sept. 18 - A preliminary Iraqi report on a shooting involving an American diplomatic motorcade said Tuesday that Blackwater security guards were not ambushed, as the company reported, but instead fired at a car when it did not heed a policeman's call to stop, killing a couple and their infant.
The report, by the Ministry of Interior, was presented to the Iraqi cabinet and, though unverified, seemed to contradict an account offered by Blackwater USA that the guards were responding to gunfire by militants. The report said Blackwater helicopters had also fired. The Ministry of Defense said 20 Iraqis had been killed, a far higher number than had been reported before.
Could the Iraqi report be wrong, sure. But I don't have a hard time thinking that a unit of mercenaries run by right-wing fundamentalists who are in love with President Bush might be the dishonest ones here.
Call me crazy.
Now the question is this: Will all the campaign contributions given to a rogue's gallery of the worst right wingers imaginable and the serious lobbying clout of Erik Prince, the CEO of Blackwater, help shield Blackwater? I am still afraid the answer could be yes.
Perhaps Rep. Henry Waxman, one of the few who seems generally interested in investigating these merchants of war, might provide the requisite oversight on yet another preemptive right-wing attack. Maybe, just maybe they'll finally be held accountable. Although stories like this one don't make me sanguine about the prospects of this occurring:
Howard J. Krongard, the State Department's inspector general, has repeatedly thwarted investigations into contracting fraud in Iraq and Afghanistan, including construction of the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, and censored reports that might prove politically embarrassing to the Bush administration, the chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform charged yesterday in a 13-page letter.
The letter, addressed to Krongard and signed by the committee chairman, Henry A. Waxman (D-Calif.), who released it yesterday, said the allegations were based on the testimony of seven current and former officials on Krongard's staff, including two former senior officials who allowed their names to be used, and private e-mail exchanges obtained by the committee. The letter said the allegations concerned all three major divisions of Krongard's office -- investigations, audits and inspections.
P.S. Blackwater is interested in building a mercenary training facility in California (San Diego to be exact). Feel safer yet?

Remember Madalin Albright??? She is also foriegn born and was groomed by forienors to be Clinton's secretary of state. If you think that we are anything more than a British/foriegn colony then you cannot read.
There must have been a shortage of American sell-outs when the British had her put into this job.
Let's not forget Negrpontea. The London born British citizen that runs the NSA, or did. This freak is wanted in several countries for terroristic attacks and poisoning of their citizens. He is not an American, and has had control of your Navy and Air Force.
the NSA is a privately owned foriegn financed and directed organization that keeps you afraid of what you think is your own government.
It should be obvious that our country is not run by Americans, but by puppets of the British and other foriegn countries.
And you're worried about Blackwater. Go figure how much people really don't know about how our country has now fallen to foriegn investors and the tools they send from overseas to run our most important positions.
Don't shoot the messenger, because the other messengers are not going to lose their jobs in the media for telling you the truth.
