"TOP MILITARY OFFICIALS ARE A DISGRACE TO THOSE THEY LEAD." That's the title of an article written by Col. David Hunt on foxnews.com. It starts with "Our generals are betraying our soldiers…again."
The article is about how "generals in both the Army and Marine Corps have cared more about their precious careers and reputations than their soldiers and Marines under them" by making sure that soldiers follow the rules of engagement and allowing them to be charged with crimes when they don't. Hunt goes on to propose "We should be putting these generals on trial" for "not trusting their soldiers" and proposes that if a soldier is charged with a crime and is found innocent, generals who allowed the charges to be filed should be "thrown in jail." Because that wouldn't have a chilling effect or anything.
So, Bush and congressional republicans, fire up that outrage! Not only is Hunt daring to question the honor and integrity of our generals, he's calling them criminals! Condemn him! Waste more time that you could spend getting the US out of Iraq! Call him disgusting! Be like John McCain and tell Hunt to leave the country! There's only one Hunt (as opposed to 3.2 million MoveOn members) — you could totally do it! With statements like these that are so much more outrageous than MoveOn's ad, how on earth could republicans stay silent?
Or is it possible that maybe, just maybe, Bush and the republicans are a bunch of ridiculous, hypocritical pricks? Only time will tell…

So much for Freedom of Speech!
