Before the 2004 (sham) Election, I sat at a dinner table with friends telling them that we were now living in a fascist regime much like the Nazis. I am 54 years old and like many of my generation I viewed numerous films about WWII and saw the horrors (both real & recreated) of the insanity that ruled in Germany. So many things of the current regime echo of the fascist "homeland" mentality. How can our national memory be so short as not to remember Vietnam? How can the minds of so many US citizens be fertile ground for the viturperative bombast of rightwing fascist broadcasters? We are lulled into complacency by escapist behaviors. I truly believe that the powers that be are poisoning us physically and mentally (chemtrails, pharmaceuticals, crappy food, pornography, violent movies & video games). Remember V for Vendetta. We are almost there.
