As a parent of a handicapped, since birth, adult son I can tell you that Social Security Survivors/Disabled helped me keep my little family. When his father died in 1991, our son became eligible for Medicare, and 'til the day our son died in 2006, SS helped make my son's life livable. So there!

The point is to illustrate how someone like Seder can blow apart many of the silly wingnut arguments. This is something lefty talkers rarely do (Thom Hartmann being an exception). It all will go in one ear and out the other of the caller, so it's primarily lessons for the rest of us on how to stand up to the conservatives and their
