I watched the program as well, and it painted a better picture of Ashcroft than was necessary. Smells a bit like propaganda distractions to me.
By that I mean, PBS is full of BS up to their eyebrows, and when David Gergon the lying propagandist gets on, you know the BS is going to fill the room.
Obviously too little,way too little tooo late, and it gives false hope to idiots that don't yet realize that this government is already in a coup(both parties) and neither party can correct the corner they put us in.
What I am saying is that they are giving false hope that they plan to give our rights back, treat us like countrymen, and police their own or give them jail sentences for the treason.
In reality, this governement has never done more than play on distractions and politic. That is why we have such a corrupt system. The only people accountable are poorer non-government types. PBS helps keep it that way, just as the other puppets do.
