The State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP) has been one of the most successful government healthcare programs in the nation's history. President Bush recently vetoed the expansion of this program, denying millions of children the healthcare they deserve. On October 16, SEIU Healthcare members, members of Congress and SCHIP families held a National Vigil for Children's Healthcare on Capitol Hill.
