Fox Noise is a joke!

I was in a nursing home today and noticed all the rooms had Fox Noise on with no sound, but nobody is watching it except for a few elderly who looked like they were in a coma. I asked one of the nursing staff why do they leave Fox Noise on when its obvious that nobody is watching it or they are not able to?

Her response....no joke...."many nursing homes around the country do this because of many colors and most people in a light coma can see the light"!!!

She also stated that at a nursing home convention the doctors stated to leave the sets on Fox Noise, with sound off because of the colors.

High ratings because of actual viewership..MY ASS!

I live near a small town in southern New Mexico. Here there is no butcher, baker, fishmonger or green grocer, all driven out of business by the Wal-Mart. If you don't think this is a problem try stopping by and buying some fresh food here. Chicken which is a day from expiring and already smells odd when you open the packet, fruit which is mouldy within a day of getting it home. If you want something better then fill the car up, because the nearest butcher is a 5 hour drive away.

um...Wal-Mart has no competition, thats why I hate them. They are so huge, and make so much money that no store can compete with them, so when they come to a small town all of the local businesses shut down. Wal-Mart is all that is wrong with capitalism. Capitalism is great when there is competition, but once one business wins out then all of the sudden you have a business that dictates the market instead of the market doing so. And don't get me started about the way they treat their employees and their anti-union attitudes.
