The outing of Valerie Plame was a transparent and egregious criminal act. It's simple enough that a moron from Crawford could understand it.
Valerie Plame is a deep cover CIA agent; working on anti-proliferation issues. Her husband a former ambassador gets sent to Nigeria at bequest of Cheney's office, with Plame having nothing to do with it to look for evidence connecting Iraq and uranium.
Wilson finds nothing and reports as much. Bush and Cheney ignore his report and others and words to the contrary go in Bush's STU speech. Joe Wilson is outraged and writes op-ed in NY Times.
Bush/Cheney and Rove out Valerie Plame to Bob Novak to punish Wilson. Criminal and traitorous. They should be impeached and in jail. Period, end of conversation.
