It's amazing that you have to actually pay the writers that create these shows that make millions of dollars. I know, a radical concept.
They have to pay writers, but you'd be surprised at how we get screwed over even with valid contracts.
If you're not on the A List, or if you work on shows that aren't prime time or gigantic network hits, among other things, the pay is already low. If you work on a non-union show, medical benefits go bye-bye.
