911 provided a kind of catalyst for change for the cabal that operates under the PNAC. In their plans for global domination, they declared that the "process of transformation is likely to be a long and protracted one,(or similar words)lest we have a new Pearl Harbor..Meaning of course, we need public outrage and subsequent support for military action against those who attack us. On 911 nineteen alleged SAUDI "hijackers",supposedly armed with box-cutters,took over four airliners..and attacked us.the rest is history.
Bush SR and JR have had ties with the Saudis AND the BIN LADEN family going back more than 30 years.(You cited the Saudi connection in your other posting Bosom Buddies).Bush Sr and Osamas' older sibling have been both connected to the Carlyle Group - a military contractor to the US Gov't.The FBI was stymied in their investigations of royal Saudi familys' funding of some of the "hijackers" prior to 911.Don't people see the obvious? Bush family Saudi friends coupled with Saudi "hijackers"(aka pawns) - who were funded by Saudi royals?
There is a huge number of questions that have arisen regarding the events of that day and days preceding and even following it.They remain unexplained,covered up and glossed over.There was no real investigation into 911.It was almost one year after it happened - with stone-walling from Bush, that the farce of a commission was formed.It was like a Warren Commission all over again.Remember Kissinger the war criminal was first appointed as head?
This should be the PUBLICS' catalyst for change.This would be the OUTRAGE they should display when the real truth is uncovered about who was behind the CRIME of 911.We have been led (again!)to believe that it was a terrorist act.Slowly,the public is awakening to the truth and it will soon be out.Then,perhaps the mother of all trials will begin at the Hague.

The question I think is this. What will make public outrage reach critical mass? If at all. I see no sign that anything, no matter how outrageous, comes close to rising to that level these days. There is an "oh well" seen that before attitude.

The numbing of the publics' outrage is perhaps just part of the problem.I think that generally,in the West,we have been conditioned and programmed to believe our leaders.Same can be said of our Media and large corporations.It is abundantly clear that quite apart from the numbing of outrage there is widespread "dumbing down" of the public in general.This is happening largely because of a corporate media that is in bed with this Administration AND with others in the past.You take the likes of Hannity & Colmes,Coulter,O'Reilly,Limbaugh and the rest of the junk media on the radio - do you think even they themselves believe the vitriol they spew in the name of journalism? I think not.It is meant to be a part of DELIBERATE,CALCULATED everyday efforts to dumb people down and to have them believing,in the face of all evidence to the contrary, that Bush\Cheney et al,are all speaking the truth.That everything is on the up and up.
This,however,is nothing the public should get tired over as there will be NO tipping point.If despondence,resignation to the status quo,and public indifference were to take root, politicians of both major parties will have free reign to do as they please with no accountability to those that elected them.The tipping point,then will lie in, and emanate from the power of the people.The Treasury pays politicians from taxes we pay.We are their bosses and not vice-versa.They are getting away with murder and profitting from our losses.Perhaps it is time for a modern-day peaceful revolution that will bring some sanity back to the world we want our children to inherit.

Well said. Unfortunately I am afraid that one of the most significant and disturbing long-term effects of this administrations behavior, has been the numbing of the American public's outrage. What used to be unusual and rare examples of executive malfeasance, now happen almost daily and the public is numb, tired and it's nothing new. Think about a headline that says "Bush Lied Again" . . it would hardly raise an eyebrow. I don't know what that tipping point is that will cause things to change.

The act of "outing" or exposing a CIA agent is an act of treason. My question is: Who will now stand up to Bush,Cheney,Rove,and the whole bunch of crooks,liars,thieves and murderers who are RUINING the country, and quite apart from their other impeachable offenses,make them stand trial for this singular act? Just look at the amount of rats deserting a sinking ship in the last year alone and it should tell ANYONE that the time is ripe to bring this totally corrupt administration to its' knees for high crimes; and yet a Democratic controlled Senate and Congress is fiddling like Nero while the country goes to the dogs.People should ask Pelosi,Reid,Hillary et al why they seem just interested in maintaining the status quo.Bush and his gang are doing ANYTHING their evil little minds conjure up and the "opposition" is doing zilch to rein them in.It is classic Animal Farm politics.
