This is about Blackwater's attempt to set up a training facility in Southern California (near San Diego), and the local residents' fight to stop it.
As you know, it's always good for a democracy to have mercs whose allegiance is not to our Constitution but to right-wing Republicans, running around domestically with AK-47s and the kind of judgment that leaves dead Iraqi civilians in their wake across Mesopotamia.
Perhaps Republicans should reread The Posse Comitatus Act. Oh wait, I almost forgot that Republicans 1) Don't read, as Bush likes to brag about 2) Don't care about our Constitution, as evidenced by their shredding it on the altar of torture and illegal spying on American citizens and 3) Will do whatever their corporate benefactors ask of them.

I have to agree with you Karen. This is an informative clip, but my thoughts on all this are, why is an organization such as blackwater even allowed to exist in this country let alone be bankrolled by us?
Isn't that what we buy with our tax dollars? Emergency services, police and so on?
Oh right, silly me, this is the 'republican national guard' unchecked and untouchable...
Forget about the noise, forget about the shiney new fire truck, forget about the bald eagle run thru that area, forget about the water well poisoning and all the rest that this clip discusses, start complaining about who the f*#! blackwater is and why are they allowed to even exist!!!!!
