We should be screaming for Reagan's blood for having negotiated with Iran's terrorists to begin with. The example the Republicans left on the Middle-East as a whole was that we could be swayed with hostages, or the death of any number of Americans. That we would trade arms for hostages, and that we could be SCARED into a policy!!

Reagan was elected because a cabal of CIA operatives and Pentagon loyalists saw fit to cut a deal with Ayatollah Khomeini that has inspired a whole region of radicals to pursue a terrorists strategy that was otherwise discouraged with a longstanding "No Negotiating With Terrorist" policy until the Republicans bartered for hostages, and our national security to sway an election.

ARMS FOR HOSTAGES IS A MATTER OF FACT, PUBLIC RECORD. We let the Republicans that stil serve in high positions of government today off the hook. We proved that this kind of criminal, treasonous behavior is rewarded in America with POWER!

But the thing I love about Giuliani is that, like Schwarenegger (seriously, my letter after y is broken!) he exposes the extent of GOP hypocrisy. People who wanted Clinton strung up by his testicles for what he did have no problem promoting and defending people who in terms of their personal lives were much, much worse, simply because they are tax hawks and war hawks. Their sexual morality is really just a sham, even for the most religious like Dobson: they'll still line up behind Giuliani if he's the nominee, and they'll still vilify Clinton at the same time. They're shameless, and so are the GOP voters--although I really believe there is a core of them who are consistent on these issues of sexual morality and would never vote for Giuliani because of it. In modern electoral politics, it won't take many of the GOP base jumping ship to cost him the election.

So lay off, we need him to get nominated!
