It's called satire, people. Doing something exaggerated to reveal or communicate something.

I got a good chuckle and a smirk out of it, and as far as offensive goes: that's good. Makes you think about things and shakes your world a little bit.

It's your fault, not the producers of this, that you're letting it 'taint' your view of what you view as 'sacred.' If you view it as sacred, that's your own dang business, not theirs.

What does it mean to call something "sacred"? Wikipedia says, "Set apart for the worship of Gods". If I were God, I'd love my music being used to reduce sexual harassment by making fun of a hypocrite like O'Reilly.

*sigh* Okay people, try to get your head around this: Bill Reilly's sanctimonious claim on the "moral high ground" of America is what makes the use of "The Messiah" comical in this satire.

I will admit, a joke isn't funny when it has to be explained. However, for people with an IQ of over 125, this actually does generate a few chuckles.

Hmm, I'm not quite sure how I feel about this. I just got done with doing 5 performances of Messiah this week with the Community Choir that I'm in. It's a sacred work and I'm just a bit offended by it being used like this. Couln't Keller have come up with a original work or was that too much effort or did it require more creativity than he poosess? Sorry guys, this is not good.
