THE QUESTION

Every citizen must demand - from every candidate for office, from every Congressional Representative and Senator now in office an answer to the question:

What have you done to fulfill your Oath of Office, to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America, in the face of the many credible allegations of impeachable offence leveled against George W. Bush and Richard Cheney?

How can you, standing for office, ask anyone to vote for you in the face of your failure to demand hearings and investigations? How can you ask us to believe, that once elected, you will honor the oath you have, so far, failed to honor?

And, from every journalist, newscaster, interviewer and media pundit –

How, as journalists, can you justify your failure to demand an answer to this question?

We hear a great deal of campaign rhetoric about “change” – the need to take the country in a “new direction”. Many references are made to the misdeeds of the Bush administration and its failed policies.

Why do we hear nothing as an expression of the oath of office taken by the Senators to “defend the Constitution” calling for immediate hearings and investigations into the many credible allegations of impeachable offense and Constitutional violation leveled against the President and Vice President?

Do the candidates hope to inherit the illegally expanded powers of the Presidency asserted by Bush and Cheney?

The impeachable offences alleged against Bush/Cheney are more serious than those brought against Richard Nixon, and certainly of more consequence than those brought against Bill Clinton.

Remember Barbara Jordan –

“My faith in the Constitution is whole, it is complete, it is total. I am not going to sit here and be an idle spectator to the diminution, the subversion, the destruction of the Constitution.”

When the President do over-reach, the Constitution say you must impeach!

Unfortunately he is far too educated and articulate to be president. Politicians aren't allowed to make this much sense.

Dennis Kucinich has remained remarkable in his willingness to call a spade a spade - from the getgo. I want this man to be president.

Nancy, set the table! The American people are hungry, so put a large bowl of truth and a side dish of integrity on the table. I'd also like to see a huge serving of subpoenas for those who have failed to turn over important documents and are impeding investigations.

Let's not forget to add a side dish of courage, it seems the Democrats aren't getting enough of this dish, they're suffering from a major deficiency, which is why they appear so weak.

We'll also need a huge helping of ... obeying your constitutional duties. The table wouldn't be complete without the main entrees, a pan of "the will of the people" and a dish of Impeachment ... Nancy set the table!

Impeachment is not enough! These crooks have committed TREASON and should be imprisoned for the rest of their miserable lives!

Is the end near?

Dennis Kucinich is the only candidate for president who has voted against the war from the very beginning. He was not duped into believing the lies of Bush & Cheney. He is not owned by corporate donors and is a true representive of the people. I believe he is the only candidate that has the potential to restore faith & integrity in the U.S. government of which I currenty have none! He is the only candidate for president that I have ever made a cash contribution to in almost 30 years that I have been a registered voter. We as Americans have a opportunity to get this man into office. The Election is still a year away and is wide open. I won't believe from the mainstream media that Hillary and Obama are the leaders of the pack and most likely to win. I urge anyone who reads this to vote for Dennis in any poll or election and support him in any way they can! Lets help Dennis impeach Cheney, then Bush before they get us into World War 3!

It all boils down to what Reagan did in 1988 bowing to pressure from the right: "Abolishing the Fairness Doctrine". This allowed channels like Fox News and Rush Limbaugh to exist. Ninety two percent (92%) of radio talk show hosts are right wing persuasion. Public airwaves belong to the public and the fairness doctrine must be restored. Insist that the presidential candidates promise to restore the fairness doctrine and to bust the 5 media monopolies which control our thought process.

I would like to think the reason that Dubya has not been impeached is that the Republican majority wanted to keep their jobs, and it takes a 2/3 majority to impeach. That makes it impossible for the people "on the other side of the aisle" to force impeachment. Am I mistaken?

Looking forward to your automated e-mail run on a database that tells me "unfortunately, we can't reply because we are too busy, but you can subscribe to our newsletter" Howard Dean's TV scream wasn't what destroyed his viability as a candidate from grass roots...these automated e-mail replies turned off his original grass roots supporters who were busy supporting their families but had found time to support his attempt to be a candidate.
For what it is worth, or not,

Dennis Kucinich is the only one on Capital Hill to stand up for his convictions and to truly speak his mind. It is past time for impeachment of Buch, Cheney and Gonzales! If something isn't done soon, we won't have a country left. Rome fell and so can America.

Ageed, let's stop the madness!

It HAS BEEN time to impeach Bush and Cheney for the last 5 years over: (1) misleading us into the Iraq war; (2) releasing Valerie Plame's undercover identity as a CIA agent; (3) awarding Haliburton (a company they both worked for) a no bid contract to charge American tax payers hundreds of billions of dollars; and (4) many other violations of U. S. law and our Constitution too numerous to list.
In the old days of America, they would have been charged as conspirators and traitors, convicted on evidence so well know to all of us and hanged.
Today, we hope that we are more civil; therefore, impeachment will suffice.

I believe Dennis Kucinich is the best candidate for 2008 presidency. He is an honest man with integrety and the right vision for the future of the United States of America and the world.
