Most ethical organizations will select different people for different focus groups. The only way Fox could spin this clear ethical lapse would be if the group was comprised of undecided voters and Fox would periodically check in on them and see who has made a choice or changed their minds. Fox is trying to make it seem like this is what all media companies do, when in fact, they do not.

What is there to explain?? They have some of the same people in the focus group. Is it a "scandal"? It is a group of people giving their opinions. Movie critics are the same people giving their opinion on movies. Food critics are the same people giving their opinion on food. Its funny how you guys try to find scandal when there is none. Look at the Clinton News Network. NY Times NY Daily News and other news outlets. Your telling me they are not biased. Fact of the matter is everybody is jumping on the Obama-rama bandwagon. What are they going to do when the bubble burst. When his record is exposed. When the Republican wrecking machine gets a hold of him. Look at what is happening to Hillary. And she is a seasoned politician. Boost Obama. Let him get the nomination. Wait till he faces Giuliani or Romney or Huckabee.

Where is Rizzo to explain this one?

Last night 1/7/08 on Hannity and Colmes, Alan asked Luntz if he ever has the same people show up at his fixed partial focus groups. Luntz asked the group how many have been part of a Fox focus group before and about 5 people raised their hand. This was a lame attempt to explain away their propaganda and Alan tried to help. If anyone has video they should post it.

There are plenty of opportunities to slam FOX without getting in bed with Ron Paul supporters to do so. Ron Paul is against the war; great. Mussolini made the trains run on time. Great. Ron Paul is still a despotic, racist nut-case and why liberal bloggers and pundits let themselves be used by him and his supporters is beyond me.

I wish I could be stunned by this. I'm not.

Frank Luntz is scum, and anyone who thinks he's impartial is deluding themselves.

I imagine that even this side-by-side comparison showing serious ethical lapses by Fox and outright lies by Fox won't break the spell that some Fox supporters are under. Of course, the "left" controls the media. That's why Dan Rather was fired for believing faulty information and why no one at Fox will get the axe over making up the news.
