They're well done, as Franken doesn't try and be anyone but who he is. He is likeable in a down-home, folksy kind of way, which is the feel of these ads.
Norm Coleman, of course, immediately responded by attacking Franken's Minnesota credentials, you know, because a shiny-toothed, Midnight Toking, runway model-marrying, Brooklynite just screams Minnesota!
