Bridget D. Coonce, from Union Bank of California's Corporate Marketing and Advertising department just forwarded us this letter instructing their customer support reps in how to respond to all of your emails:
Due to the recent inquiries made through our Contact Us URL about our advertising support of the Michael Savage show, I wanted to provide you with a script for answering these inquiries. We do not intentionally advertise on or around the Michael Savage radio talk show and were surprised to find our name referenced on the “nosavage.org” website stating that we do. Although our ad was mistakenly run twice last week during his show on KFMB, our media agency has confirmed with KFMB that it will never run during his show again.
Thank you!
Here's how customer service reps are now instructed to respond:
Union Bank of California was very surprised to learn that we were named as advertisers on the controversial Michael Savage show as noted in the nosavage.org website. Union Bank does not support the content or point of views expressed in the Michael Savage show and does not intentionally advertise on his show. However, KFMB, without our knowledge, mistakenly ran our commercials twice last week on the Michael Savage show. We have been assured that our advertising will not run during the Michael Savage show at any time in the future.
We appreciate the response and concern of the community in helping us preserve our reputation. Please accept our sincere apology for the confusion. For more information about Union Bank of California, please visit our website at unionbank.com.

What a joke.
