I've made no secret of the fact that I'm lovin' the Edwards, but I'll be happy with Obama.

As for Clinton, I'll get drunk and hold my nose and vote for her, but when I sober up I won't be happy.

As to who I support? If I were an American, and of voting age, I would vote for Barack Obama. My reasoning? Since the inception of your country. White men have been in charge. Particularly in the last two decades or so, they have been steering it the wrong way. Out of the two minority contenders on the Democratic side( a woman and a person of colour) Obama has to be the clear choice. Hillary has been in the White House and under her husbands watch he broke everyones' trust - including hers. I wonder if they are not even a little bit embarassed to try again...?

Obama exudes a truth, sincerity and charisma that lends a refreshing air to the campaign. I hope he will win.

KNK: I agree with most of what you have to say about Hillary. Her time in the Senate has been all about positioning for a run at the presidency. And I expect more.

I will disagree with the "crocodile tears" comment. I think that they were real. At the time, she was talking about how hard she had worked for this. I think that her tears were real -- she was upset for HER.

To KillerT - John Edwards - his tone,demeanour and his body language displays insincerity. Pay attention whenever you see\hear him talking.I have been observing people for a long time. He wears a kind of permanent frown and it contorts and twists further the more he tries to emphasize what he himself doesn't believe what HE is saying?

Yes,Bucky I am from Canada and I do have a guest bedroom - and most of us are not that far north. Example- Windsor Ontario is more south than a few American cities. From where I am,I can be in Niagara Falls NY,in just over an hour.

I have said before, Hillary will be a status-quo President. I think,as an observer of politics for many years, that she and Bill are striving more to make a name for themselves than for your countrys' betterment .

What concrete action has Hillary taken - perhaps in tandem with Nancy Pelosi and other senior Democrats to bring Bush et al to task for their horrendous crimes against your own population and others? Isn't that why people voted Democrat in Nov 2006? To see some immediate action..

How can she sit there for years voting to fund a war based on lies she is now aware of? That answer is simple: Hillary and Bill had long-term plans to get back into the white house. She gambled on the idea and HOPE that by the time 2007-2008 came around, the "mission accomplished" banner could be hung again. She would not be left with Dubyas' debacle.

Anyway, it is becoming increasingly obvious that Bill-n-Hill are campaigning together for another term. Hill has even started using "we" in speeches. Not "we" and is you and me and Hill. "We" as in Bill-n-Hill.

Not sure that I disagree with you about this destroying their chances in the general. I tend to thaink that the problem is that they will so split the voters into Clinton / Obama camps that they will sit out the general rather than vote for the other.

I don't believe that all of this sniping is aiding the Repubs, because dirty politics is SOP for those guys and there is nothing we are going to bring up in the primary that they wouldn't bring up or make up in the general (hello Swift Boaters).
