For what he is trying to say in his campaign, I don't think it could have been done much better. In light of the JFK/RFK comparisons, often being made by the Kennedy family, he shows off the vigor, large adoring crowds and overall energy that one would associate with Camelot.
With Obama's "Omentum" as some have come to call it, this is going to be an interesting Super Tuesday...

I'm surprised no one has mentioned this here... Yesterday, instead of watching some football game, thousands of supporters showed up in the rain at an Obama rally in Los Angeles. It was clearly an event to promote the strength of women's support for Obama. Caroline Kennedy, Oprah Winfrey, a 93-year-old Asian American woman whose name I can't remember (but who served in the Navy and the Library of Congress), Stevie Wonder, Michelle Obama -- all spoke passionately and eloquently about their support of Obama. (Stevie was an unexpected guest, and he sang a little melody... and the YesWeCan song also played before the speakers took to the podium...) The crowd was told that they are the true Giants and Patriots of the day... looking ahead from the Super Bowl to Super Tuesday.
A theme of the rally, as beautifully articulated by Oprah, was to encourage women to be free, and to think for themselves, and to vote according to their heart and truth, regardless of gender or race.
At the very end of the rally, unscheduled, Maria Shriver, the first lady of California, the wife of Republican Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, showed up to share her thoughts and support. I looked around at the cheering throngs, and was moved to see women in their fifties and sixties applauding and tearful, alongside college-age women hugging and high-fiving.
