the RIAA is a pirate outfit...they've stolen more from artists than net sharing EVER will... what i download is stuff i've purchased in other incarnations (ie: lps, cassette tapes, etc..some of it is out of print) and i'm tired of it.
bands/artists need to bypass the riaa and release their own work on their own sites (ie: radiohead) they'll make $ and won't have to deal with RIAA lawyers or corporate bullying.
