Obama is a great speaker. Man he really is. But, that will only take you so far. He has got no real statistics of really doing anything. 18 months as a junior senator from Illinois. McCain is a man with statistics and support from both parties. McCain is known as a man of integrity and honor. Both parties know this and he has proven statistics of being a maverick and not going with the establishment of his own party (I like that ). Because of this he will pull a HUGE chunk of the Independents and will in fact draw blue dog democrats. The right wingers like Rush and Hannity etc attacking him as not a conservative will only help McCain more!! Obama can raise money too boy, but that doesn't win elections, just look at Romney!! In the end it will be McCain as our next president.

John McCain is the real deal. He has support from the middle, the independents. No one has ever won with just support from the far left or the far right. John will get the conservatives sooner or later because they won't vote for a extreme liberal like Obama/Hillary. The middle and Indep will go to McCain... Obama will go down as nothing more than a great speaker...

Well Bison, you certainly contributed alot...however, considering the fact that for the last 60 years the entrenchment candidates like McCain and Clinton, as well as the new-comer entrenchment candidates like Huckabee and Obama have offered nothing in the way of real and substantial change in either their message or their empty promises I would say that we are only in for much, much more of the same.

You know folks, for decades the people of this country have been at the mercy of the establishment wings of both the Republican and Democratic Parties. Each party has taken their respective turns at the leadership role of this country and yet, both parties have done little to ensure the prosperity and happiness of the people of this once-great land. They present their respective candidates who are acceptable to their agendas and they spew out the same old empty promises they always make, promises that they either can’t keep or have no intention of keeping, but it gets them votes.

For years we have allowed these entrenchment politicians to embed themselves into the flesh of this nation like parasitic ticks, sucking the life blood from this country and its people. Every four years we go through the same process and usually we are given the same old choices which are no real choices at all, this time it is different and we have the chance to make a real decisive difference in the direction this country is being led.

The fiat monetary system is reaching it's mathematical termination point due to the underlying debt obligation that creates and maintains it, and the government is spending like there nothing can bring it down, but like all empires it will crumble under the weight of the massive and irreversible debt that supports it expansion. All the empty promises made by these entrenchment candidates will ultimately prove that the politicians making them were either lying or were ignorant of the consequences our actions over the last 60 to 100 years have cost this country and its people.

If it is up to these entrenchment candidates we will all wake up without a pot to piss in.

At best, Obama offers us "the Empire without Iraq."

Didn't Obama say a while back that he wasn't opposed to sending troops into Pakistan? This guy is just as much in the back pocket of the Israel Lobby as any other frontrunner. I'm 42, so this doesn't effect me as much as it does y'all, but 2 years from now then the economy has tanked and I'm standing in the breadline, I'm going to be laughing just thinking about the people who got him in, the 18-42 year old men and women standing in Pakistan with a weapon in thier hands wondering what happened.
