With all the media covering the Iraq War, we often forget the stories of the Iraqi civilians and we rarely have a face to put to the devastating statistics. Even more rare, do we have opportunity to forge connections with those lives half way around the globe that we have changed forever.

Last Mother's Day, Brave New Films partnered with No More Victims to help raise funds to bring Salee, a young Iraqi girl injured by U.S. forces, to the United States for medical treatment and the fitting of prosthetic legs.  Here is her story.
