Christian conservatives are predicting a looming catastrophe as birthrates fall in Europe. But writer Kathryn Joyce, author of Missing: The Right Babies in this week's Nation Magazine, argues that the campaign to promote Europe's "Demographic Winter" is really a xenophobic effort to confront rising Muslim populations, and to export the U.S. culture wars to a new battlefield.

As if that weren't enough, there are those on the "battlefields" of die Amerikanischer Kulturkrieg who want to see the "immediate evacuation" of the remaining Afrikaner peoples from South Africa (not to mention the white Rhodesian expatriate community there), to be resettled as "honest and simple White Christians***in danger of persecution by a Communistic regime." (For which, read "refugees.")
Howbeit without any credible proof save their own deluded egos and an apologist mentality for the apartheid regime's "Maak Bokkies vir Botha" campaign of the mid-1980's to increase white birth rates.
Not to mention suspicious-sounding claims of "persecution" or fear thereof which Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) should raise questions about, especially considering the likely "sponsorship" of "resettlement" groups as are probably fronts for racists and white supremacists.
The which deserves to be watched closely.
