I feel that Kerry's insistence on taking the high road cost him dearly. He needed to put on the brass knucks and the $#17kickers and wade into the fray.

The best way would have been to invite the Swftboaters to speak with him live, repeating their accusations to his face before the camera. I bet half of them wouldn't have responded, and the other half would have shown their truthiness within a couple of minutes.

Easy enough for Obama to debunk. Take Larry Sinclairs challange and submit to a lie detector test, as he has said he would. That would put to rest the rumors that we might get a crackhead in the Whitehouse. Anybody that has had any envolvement with a crackhead knows how dishonest and manipulative they are. Sinclair also gave a more detailed radio interview. He says he's putting it out now because Barack lied when he said he hasn't done drugs since he was a teen. Your right when you say its already making the rounds, Larry Sinclairs UTube video has had over 400,000 hits already. If these accusations were true, I would be more concerned that he cared so little for his family he would but their health in danger. This could torpedo him in the general election if he ignores it.

Well, I was going to say that depending on what the claims are Obama should make a joke out of it like he did with the plagiarism thing. Obviously that would be terrible to do regarding a mental patient. But it would work for many of these phony attacks.

With the mental patient, if it gets any traction he can point how how cruel of his opponents to take advantage of someone who is ill.

The story has been pretty thoroughly debunked from what I understand. The person making the claim was actually in a mental institution at the time he claimed the incident occurred! Which is not at all hard to believe after watching the video.
