why can't the States produce genuine sdcientific
pioneers?
-yes we're great at refinement -development
-implementation etc. -but that simple -first
principles -groundbreaking work always seems to come out of England.
-And please don't say BILL GATES -He was building
on gruondwork already laid.
-Where are our Newtons -Darwins -Cricks -Turings?
-Must be something connected with the pervasive
dumb-down folksiness that seems everywhere enforced.
