What an impressive spokesperson Dr. Asma Mobin-Uddin is. I wouldn't hesitate to have my kids see her as their pediatrician. She's absolutely right in reminding us that there are (hundreds of) thousands of Muslim physicians who have practiced medicine competently for decades, who have no ties or interest in extremism and/or terrorism. Her's is a timely reminder that there are millions of muslims in the world who denounce and are troubled by extremism and terrorism.
And its also time to implore the world to know that there are millions of Americans who denounce and are troubled by the Bush administration and the ideologies that drive them.
