A few bonus patented, award-winning, internationally acclaimed quick notes for you. Christy Harvey, the Director of Strategic Communications at the Center for American Progress, was just on Air America. Here's what she reported:
The Pentagon report on confirming that there were no links to Al Qaeda and Saddam Hussein was released on Monday. Yes, the report that exposes the BushCo lies, that report. After going through 600,000 documents, that was their conclusion, that there was no connection whatsoever. But press releases and briefings were canceled by the Pentagon, they took the report off their web site, and you have to submit a request in writing to get it, and it will be snail mailed.
Their secrecy is indicative of their blank view of the world, they don't trust in reality, ignore what's going on...they "shred shred away".
It's all about unchecked power, per John Dean's book.
They get away with it because there's so much of it, people stop paying attention.
Bush on Afghanistan: He's not bolstering troops, and said this:
"I must say, I'm a little envious," Bush said. "If I were slightly younger and not employed here, I think it would be a fantastic experience to be on the front lines of helping this young democracy succeed."
"It must be exciting for you ... in some ways romantic, in some ways, you know, confronting danger. You're really making history, and thanks," Bush said.
This is a slap in the face to every man and woman putting their lives on the line for this.
Bush uses the military for photo ops, or for political reasons, but doesn't actually support the troops. He turns a blind eye toward veterans, mental health care for them, the homeless.
For him to say it must be exciting and romantic? Please. It's like when he joked about looking for those pesky WMD.
And finally...
Unbelievably, the Air Force's new slogan: Above all.
In German, that would be "uber alles".

I just don't understand why do you accept this?
