When Barack Obama spoke in Philadelphia, PA at Constitution Center, on matters not just of race and recent remarks but on the fundamental path by which America can work together to pursue a better future, I shouldn't have been surprised to see some on the right and in the corporate media continue to focus on what divides us as I show in this video.

You can see more of the segment in which Prof. Cornel West and Mos Def appeared on HBO's "Real Time with Bill Maher" on September 7, 2007, at: www.youtube.com

I am very confused. Why is it always necessary for a Black person to request that White people take a step back and examine racism in this country when they are the pepitrators of practicing inhumanity to man.
The problem is that most Blacks know that the problem is actually the establishment. Most blacks and whites get along on the same economic level pretty well.
Most Whites get offended when Blacks speak out against the establishment (which is White). Whites (common people), get offended and think Blacks are talking about or blaming them. The
way Whites can get around being blame is to make the Establishment accountable for their actions.
A lot of white should realize they are effected by injustices by the establishment and media just like everyone else.
