This garbage is beyond stupid. So racist. So offensive. SO WRONG! Bad logic, not factual, not true, WRONG!

Gee, Pat, could those statistics be skewed because black-on-white rapes are far more likely to result in a guilty sentences? Because white men raping black or white women are far less likely to be prosecuted or found guilty than black men? Could other black on white crime be more "prevalent" for the same reasons? That is is not more prevalent -- just more likely to be prosecuted? Could there be more white victims of crime just because there are far more white people?

The backlash to his illogical article of half-truths will do much to shine a light on the falsehoods of racism. I hope.

This is the same MSNBC paid pundit who last week told a bright, articulate black woman commentator to SHUT UP!

Does MSNBC have an Imus clause in his contract that encourages his bigotry? What a fulfilling feeling it must be to take home to Mrs. B that you make a living bringing bigotry to the American airwaves. Course now that the US $ is worth less than a peso, Pat may want to rethink the value of that bigotry paycheck he's sold his soul for.

I just sent an email asking for him to be canned.

I really doubt I can watch MSNBC anymore if he continues there. It'll kill me to miss Keith, but I think this is more important.

America has been the best country on earth for black folks.

What does that mean? I thought America was supposed to be the same for all folks. Is he saying that if people who were forced here from Africa are treated better here now than they would be in Darfur they should consider themselves lucky? Does he mean White people treat Black people worse in Africa? WTH? Is there a translator in the house? Can someone translate stupid into English for me?

Oh, and on the white men = government, I think if you boil it all down, the "shorter version" of his column is that AA's aren't sufficiently thankful to the whites, so fuck 'em.

I'm not a letter writer or someone that complains to programs if I see something I don't like. But this is too god damn much. It is bad enough that I have to listen to his racist ass provide "analysis" on a racially charged situation, or hear him tell Keli Goff to "shut up" when she dares to contradict him, but how he thought he could get away with this crap . . .

I love his fucked up statistics about the scary black men raping white women. Even if accurate, how is that germane to his point? Oh, except his point is "Black men like Barack Obama should just shut their mouths before we shut it for him."

I couldn't read the whole thing Clanc. I only have so much outrage to go around, and I'm plum out. The worst part (for me) is that Buchanan is incredibly smart- by experiance and schooling. I've heard him rattle off facts and quotes that are just stunning in their breadth of knowledge. And I've agreed with him on things more times than I like to admit. But it all boils down to the fact that he's a hardcore bigot. I think Tweety has tried to present him with the paradigm about how Irish were treated similiar to Mexicans or AA's back in the day, but he just can't fathom it because, (gasp) those other ones aren't WHITE.

Ugh.

That first paragraph really pisses me off. First, it's quite illustrative that Buchanan equates those who operate the government with "white Americans," don't you think? As if they are one and the same. Which, if his brain was not so addled by his own perverted hatred, he might conclude is part of the f---ing problem. White jack asses like himself see themselves as the sole inheritors of power; it is something to be hoarded rather than shared.

How does this jack ass still have a job or a column? Quite honestly, as repulsive as this paragraph is, the following ones are just as bad:

The mind boggles at the absolute staggering stupidity of Buchanan's comment. The only thing that would have topped it is if he had included "happiness" along with freedom and prosperity.
