On Wednesday a Senate subcommittee held a hearing on the Environmental Protection Agency's response to 9/11 and the air quality in Lower Manhattan, a response that has come under intense scrutiny after a 2003 Inspector General report revealed that the Bush Administration had altered EPA press releases.
