On March 27, 2008, volunteers from MoveOn.org, supporters of Brave New Films, and dozens of concerned citizens delivered copies of a 200,000-signature petition to the offices of NBC and CNN in New York and CBS and ABC in Washington D.C. The petition read:
FOX is a Republican mouthpiece, not a legitimate news organization. Real news organizations must reject FOX's smears of Barack Obama, not parrot them and distract Americans from the pressing issues of the day.
This event came just after the release of FOX Attacks! Obama Part 2: Spreading the Virus, a BNF video that has already received over 500,000 views in less than two weeks. The video highlights how FOX's lies and biased journalism have infected the traditional media. At one point during a Democratic debate hosted by MSNBC, NBC's Tim Russert literally repeats FOX's Sean Hannity word-for-word in an effort to connect Barack Obama to Louis Farrakhan.

Fox news station is a right wing spin machine for the Republican party. Your cult like reporters can not tell Americans how to think; we are far more savvy today than in the Industrial Age.
Furthermore, I thought reporters were supposed to be unbiased! How come you do not talk to Mc Caines' minister because he made some reprehensible comments about Katrina, etc. Also, your yellow journalism is depicted in your local stations as well! You dicuss the minority crimes far more than you do the Caucasian crimes. Also, when you interview someone of color he is always a lout with missing teeth or something. When you report the news in an up scale African American neighborhood, you do not state it is an upscale one; however, when you go into a Caucasian one, you say it is one. What is wrong with this picture! The Fox station is no longer a news station; it is a cult that highers biggots, and that is why this country is in the ghastly state it is in today! I will never watch your station again, and I will tell my sorority sisters to do the same!
