Chuck, an aspiring writer, is living at the Ritz Motel in the hopes he'll catch a glimpse of the "real" America. When Gerald Brandy, a sensational best selling author checks in to room seventeen, Chuck discovers he may be biting off more than he can chew.
Frames Per Second, an organization at Emerson College, chose me to direct this short film in the fall of 2005. Matt Nelson wrote it, Larkin Seiple was the director of photography, Doug Keller produced.
The rest of the credits are coming, as well as a much shorter and higher res cut. This edit was thrown together for the FPS screening and was more for the crew than anyone else. It is by no means a final cut. The sound effects, for example, are quite temporary. I just posted it for fun, until the real version is completed.
