McCain is embarrassing! Who cares about Obama not being "tough" enough-- let's care about integrity, honesty, logicality! The only thing we should care about is who is genuine or disingenous, honest or scum, integrity or none, can make logical decisions or not, can make logical decision along with ethical ones or not-- who cares about "tough"! The president wears a suit and "should" use is brain (lacking recently by the current president). Let's get some brains, integrity, and virtuousness in Washington for a change!

Our propaganda machine in this country has gone beyond ridiculous. Don't worry about the elections, because our glorious "leader" will call a national emergency before then and suspend them. If you think that's crazy, just keep watching... it's on the way!

Holy cow! How many stupid people are there in the world anyway?

Whatever happened to thoughtful debate and discussion? By the way McCain enjoys hurling the Ayers issue at Obama, so why isn't McCain being "hammered" regarding his relationship to Rod Parsley and John Hagee. During the presidential campaign in 2000 McCain criticized the Bush campaign for "pandering to the outer reach of American politics and the agents of intolerance" such as Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell. Yet, McCain's "spiritual guide," Rod Parsley, believes America's founding mission is to destroy Islam, which he calls a "false religion"; and John Hagee, another political supporter, believes Hurricane Katrina was God's punishment for gay rights and called the Catholic Church "the Antichrist" and a "false cult." And earlier this year McCain took back the "agent of intolerance quote and gave the commencement address at Falwell's Liberty University. McCain's close alliance with these extremists should be of great concern.

I think that I might have a great idea to "stifle" the patriotic issue that "supposedly" Obama falls short of. Why should he “NOT” use humor to point out how ridiculous this strategy to discredit his competence really is. Why not simply give Americans the benefit of the doubt by appearing in public "wrapped in a flag" and not acknowledge to the wearing of it. He should just smile, like “what’s the problem?”. He needs to show Americans just how ridiculous the "lapel pin-thing" is. Then tell them/us what he plans to do to "fix" what's gone wrong and needs to change. You'd be surprised with the intelligence of the “average” American. After years of neocon "corporation-ism", it would be seen as a welcomed change to the "status quo". As we no longer have the "luxury" of adhering to the "status-quo".
