Ok, here the run down!
When you hear the pundits on all the networks you start to notice all the constant repetitive wordplay on the election let's break it down!
Buzz word number 1: Jeremiah Wright -- The most popular buzz words from all right wing pundits! When you hear it, you know they're trying to paint Senator Obama as the "black candidate", "un-American", "racist" and anything they could think of! Project for Excellence in Broadcasting believes that the Jeremiah Wright issue dominated the news for over three weeks since the outburst at the National Press Club and NAACP dinner. So when Wright's name comes up.... You know what I'm talking about!
Buzz word number 2: 1968 -- When the Democratic Party held their convention in 1968, their were riots with outrage towards going to war with Vietnam, Robert F. Kennedy and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s deaths. There was civil unrest towards the late 1960s. When you hear that word, you know that right wing pundits are expecting the Democratic Party to be divided cause over the outcome. I heard it on Rush Limbaugh (calls for riots), seen it on Newsbusters (Brent Bozell's commentary), and Karl Rove (calls of dividing the party).
Buzz word number 3: Black Vote and White Vote -- This is the old tactic to make it seem like a race issue. The polls show that Senator Obama won most of the Black vote. And it's mainly due to the Jeremiah Wright issue. The media harps on this and encourages the Blacks to vote for Obama over McCain and Clinton. This buzz word is the most common of the right wing pundits. Remember the Republicans love to race-bait and use divisive strategies to win. So when you hear right wing pundits say Black vote and White vote, then you know they are trying to divide the Democratic Party.
Buzz word number 4: Florida and Michigan --When the Democratic Party stripped the delegates from the two major states, the candidates were obligated not to accept the delegates. But since, Senator Hillary Clinton didn't win most of the primaries; she wants to include the Florida and Michigan delegates in to at least manage a narrow lead against Senator Barack Obama. When you hear those words, you know they're trying to paint Obama as ineffective. They're trying to paint Clinton as a "cheater". They're trying to prop up John McCain to claim that he would win Florida seeing the Democrats as weak on issue in Florida.
Buzz word number 5: Positive -- Usually when a losing candidate is trying to generate support, the right wing pundits want to say "nice things" about a major rival or ally! The right wing pundits were very supportive of Mitt Romney, Rudy Giuliani and Fred Thompson. Now seeing that Barack Obama is the frontrunner, the right wing pundits are trying to paint Hillary Clinton as better candidate over Obama.
Buzz word number 6: Experience -- Has there been enough talk about who's experienced. When you hear the right wing pundits explain the reasons to not support Obama, it's basically a tactic to drive a wedge towards working class supporters and black voters.
Buzz word number 7: Polls -- Right wing pundits love the polls. They can determine who the more formable candidate is! But as I said in the last videos, don't believe what the polls say, don't believe what the pundits says, always believe that you're candidate can win. Ignore what people say about you're candidate. They don't know the candidate personally, and they'll excuse usually comes from listening to the media anyways. So when you hear a right wing pundit say that, you know what I am talking about!
Be on the lookout for these buzz words.
