Ben is a 14 year old 8th grader in Overland Park, Kansas. He has taken his artwork and made a mission to donate money made from the artwork to educate people about the importance of taking care of the earth. He donates his proceeds to many different environmental organizations and makes his artwork on recycled paper and makes 100% organic tshirts to emphasize the things we can all do to make a difference. He also designed a website with inspirational quotes about saving the earth to educate people even more. He lives in a very conservative midwest town where his friends and their parents aren't sure global warming exists, but he is determined to help them understand. He has been on television and in the newspaper and has work in 3 retail establishments and has done all this in the last 6 months.
