After Kentucky it’s time for a wakeup call and to face the truth no matter how painful that can be. The sad reality is that Obama may not win the general election and for all the wrong reasons. Not his policies, but his race. Once again, only a small percentage of Clinton's voters in Kentuckysaid they would vote for Obama in a general election matchup against John McCain and it reinforces . . . once again . . . Obama’s potentially fatal weakness getting blue-collar, working-class white voters to vote for him.

To deny that racial preference doesn’t exist in this country is akin to denying the nose on your face. The that people vote for people like them is unfortunate but it is a reality of the human and social conditioning and history of this country. The only patently sexist comment I have heard is one made by Limbaugh having to do with not wanting to watch a woman age during a presidential administration.

Ferraro and Clinton have collectively set back the women's movement with their comments about this.
