Bancroft's a knucklehead, I saw him at West Point last year with a bull horn where he labeled me as a traitor etc... He needs to get his facts straight; if us protesters march are really marching against the troops, then we'd be out their daily; which proves his accusation is total hogwash. According to Jimmy, questioning your government officials is slandering your military and your country. If citizens hadn't questioned the government we'd be speaking British.

People who think that people who protest this war are somehow being disrespectful to the troops and aiding and abetting the enemy always think that, until they don't. And then they think something else and object to people who don't share their new belief.

When your thinking is not grounded in reality, but rather in a belief system, you have to denigrate those who don't share your beliefs, because you can't support it with facts or reality.

This is why it's pointless to engage in dialogue with people who simply "believe" something. They'll just keep responding with the same b******t rhetoric, just like George W. Bush does on those rare occasions when a member of the press actually questions his decisions meaningfully.
