Ashley Casale is a young woman that organized a Peace March that started in May 2007 in San Francisco and ended in August 2007 in Washinton D.C.
Edward McKeon writes:
I met Ashley Casale at a local peace march to a local army recruitment office. I had read about her trip, on foot, across the country in the cause of peace. She, and her partner Michael Israel, walked from San Francisco to Washington DC over the course of several months in 2007. On the way, they raised awareness about peace, unjust wars, and the suffering that comes from such wars. She has tirelessly promoted peace here in Middletown at Wesleyan University, and has organized her fellow students to do so.
