PHIL GRAMM: "And there is one candidate in this race that stands head and shoulders above anybody else running as democrat or a republican, in terms of character. And his name is John McCain. And I wanted to come here today to talk to you about John. There is also one candidate that stand head and shoulders above every other candidate in term of having moral authority as a commander and chief. We are fighting a tough enemy that hates us and hates everything we stand for. And if they defeat us in Iraq, the war is not going to end there. They would like to fight this battle in Davenport, Iowa."
