MCCAIN: ""I'm seeking the vote of all Americans. I'm competing for it in everyplace in America. I'm going to places where there have generally not been a lot of Republican voters, but I want to show the American people that I want all of their votes. There are many Jewish Americans that are committed to the state of Israel and its existence and realize that it is under incredible threat. The Iranians, Hamas, Hezbollah, all of the other threats that they face, including the President of Iran, who Senator Obama wants to sit down and negotiate with face to face, who's dedicated to the extinction of the state of Israel. But that's true of a lot of Americans. Irish-Americans who are committed to the Irish peace process, Hispanic, Mexican-Americans who are committed to trying to see things happen in Mexico that are better for their country. It's a natural allegiance that various groups have. I met with Lebanese-Americans who are deeply concerned about the Syrian influence in Lebanon. So what I believe I can do with voters, whether they are Jewish or not, who are committed to the independence and freedom of the state of Israel and beat back efforts such as Hezbollah, Hamas, and the president of Iran who says he wants to wipe them off the map, that I have experience, knowledge, background, I've been to Israel many times, I know their leaders, I understand the issues, and I know how to ensure, uh, the independence and freedom of the state of Israel. Senator Obama has literally very little if any experience or knowledge about the challenges, and they're complex and difficult in the region."
