JOHN MCCAIN: "Many innovative technology companies have been discouraged from selling in the educational market. And many schools are employing inferior technologies that reinforce their reluctance to use software in the classroom. Government and schools should work with qualified and credible non-profits to establish a voluntary certification process for education technologies that determine their value and endorse them. Federal funding for educational materials and development should explicitly allow endorsed digital and software content to qualify."
