MCCAIN: "The democrats were wrong when they said the surge would not succeed. They are wrong when they say the political process will not move forward in Iraq. And I'm not asking them to apologize for being wrong. But I want them to reach out their hand to me. Let's appreciate the success in Iraq, let's move forward together and make sure we succeed in Iraq and defeat al-Qaeda in the central battleground of their struggle against radical Islamic extremism.
