REPORTER: "Did you see Senator Reid's and Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi's comments regarding your comments in the Wall Street Journal?"

MCCAIN: "No, and I don't care."

REPORTER: "You don't care? Well, Senator Reid said it's a sign that you are running a failed campaign. Pelosi said it was beneath your dignity. Would you like to say something about that?"

MCCAIN: "Well, in all due respect, I think it's beneath their dignity to declare the war lost as Harry Reid did back in April. I think it's beneath their dignity to call for the cutting off of funds for a mission that is succeeding, as we've found consequences in the future of America."
