MCCAIN: "I think it's true that al Qaeda continues to be a threat, they continue to try to gain traction not only in Iraq but around the world. The bombings in Scotland may have been al Qaeda-motivated. And this is a struggle that's ideological and in cyberspace, but we will defeat al Qaeda, and I am confident that under my administration we will. But we should not underestimate the lethality and the dedication of al Qaeda to destroy everything we stand for and believe in."
